Websites
- An excellent site on the classical
American philosopher William
James, one my favorite philosophers and human beings.
- An excellent site on Friedrich
Nietzsche, The

resources on Nietzsche and online editions of his writings. For
example, for one of Nietzsche's writings about Socrates,
see his chapter in Twilight
of the Idols.
- Many of the Greek and Roman classics
are available on the web at The
Internet Classics Archive, and the text of these works can
be searched by keywords.
- The Philosophers Page
provides links to information about a variety of philosophers
and links to some of their works available online.
- Philosophical classics in html provides links to a few works of Aristotle,
René Descartes, Gottfried Leibnitz, John
Locke, Bishop George Berkeley, David Hume and
Immanuel Kant.
- Into
the Wardrobe is an excellent
site on the writings and ideas of C S Lewis, author of
The Screwtape Letters, Perelandra, and the Aslan stories

- Kierkegaard on the Internet is an excellent
site devoted to the life and works or Soren Kierkegaard
- Epictetus is one of the most insightful
of the Greek stoics, and one of the simplest to read. His classic
little handbook, The
Enchiridion, can be found here
